Pool
A gentle stroll leads you to the swimming pool (16x8 metres in size, 1.40 metre maximum in height) which
is tucked into a panoramic grassy terrace with plenty of space around it and superb views of the valley and
the immaculate grounds. Large stylish sun umbrellas and pool furniture are provided by the pool.
Our pool is simple, clean, with great views and maintained daily by our on-site staff.
Relax, read a book, swim, enjoy the magnificent calm and the sounds of the nature. Or have fun with your
friends and family. The pool is far enough away from the accommodation not to disturb anyone at the
Borgo.

The Grounds
The extensive and beautifully landscaped grounds of Borgo Bastia Creti will surprise you: the gardens are
comprised of flowers, cypress trees, pomegranates, aromatic bushes and beautiful century old olive trees
shaped like artworks, superb far-reaching views of the hills in the distance and many shady corners
available for sitting and enjoying the calm and very peaceful atmosphere.
There is an abundance of space for your children to run, play safely and soak up the fresh Umbrian air.
The property is 400mt above the sea level and surrounded by a rolling hills and valleys. The evenings are
characterized by a gentle breeze and as there is no light pollution in our unspoiled valley, it is the perfect
place for star gazing.
All your five senses will appreciate being here.
Tennis court, Table tennis and Bocce/Boule set
You can play on the Borgo Bastia Creti tennis court situated in the sport facilities area and, in case you want
to train, there is a nice practice tennis court as well at your disposal.
Kindly note that two nearby houses have the right to share the tennis court, but our reservation system is well regulated and guests can be confident we can meet their playing times requirements.
Tennis racquets and balls are available for guests use and are stored in the old Chapel.
Have fun playing table tennis with your family and friends. We have a nice table tennis table with wheels that can be moved around the pool area, just for a game or for a real tournament! A boule set is available as well to play under the olive groves, by the pool... just play and have fun wherever you prefer!

THE OLD CHAPEL
A XII century Chapel, nowadays deconsecrated, has been converted into a relaxed meeting space for
communal use between guests.
With its high ceilings, frescoed walls and central open fireplace, it is a charming, elegant space where
guests are welcomed on arrival and where the on-site manager can assist with any requests.
Here meals, or breakfasts can be organised upon request and served either indoors, or to eat al fresco on
its natural grassy terrace with a beautiful views over the valley.
Books, guides, dvds, tennis / table tennis racquets and balls, a communal laptop, as well as a large area
with comfortable sofas in front of the lovely open fireplace and a piano, are all available for guests use.
In the case of an exclusive rental, the Chapel can be used as an indoor space for meetings, or yoga/pilates
sessions, drawing room, or in case of a wedding as a possible space for the symbolic ceremony, aperitif,
serving of the desert, dance floor after the banquet, or the banquet if the group is small.
Kindly note the Chapel space, its small kitchen and equipment can't be used by guests for self-catering.
BBQ area
A big BBQ area is available for guests use near the pool. This large space has great views, lights for the
evening and charcoal can be provided. The on-site staff are available to organise garden tables and chairs
to make your BBQ relaxed and enjoyable.
As an alternative option, portable bbqs are available on request for use outside your accommodation.
Sauna
By the pool in a small wooden house you will find a cold shower, a toilet and a sauna (on request) for 2
people. Romantic or just very healthy (especially if you dare to plunge in the pool just afterwards!) a sauna
is a very appreciated service in Borgo Bastia Creti.
